Super Steel South located in Gadsden
Alabama began operations in February of 2001. This all new facility has the newest
technology available in the processing industry. With a 65,000 square foot building,
180,000 square feet of concrete storage yard and a rail site, Super Steel South can offer
capacity to meet your processing needs.
Our annealing department with two
new Salem annealing furnaces has the capacity of 1,500 tons per month for annealing coils,
cut lengths or parts. The Salem Furnaces are atmosphere controlled with endothermic
gas to provide protection to material surfaces during processing.
A new Pangborn coil blaster offers
alternative pre-cleaning prior to annealing. The Pangborn coil blaster's capacity is
4,000 tons per month. A new Pangborn blaster for parts offers consistent
pre-cleaning options prior to coating to your specifications.
A new Jessup coil coating line to
zinc phosphate and lube your material with capacity of 8,000 tons per month. A new
Jessup barrel coating line to zinc phosphate and lube parts with capacity of 8,000 tons
per month.
